'The Long Game'

Well, well!

Nestled in the middle of Peter Ecclstone's debut/farewell tour as the Doctor is this surprising gem of an episode! Yes, what might initially seem like a run of the mill/monster of the week adventure for the TARDIS posse has a lot more going on in it than us WHINECAST boys ever remembered and hell, it's a ruddy pleasure!

We've got thwarted teenage romances! There's intrigue, deception, social commentary! There's Simone Peggles, a genuine movie star, as our kooky villain! Not to mention some some sexy surgery and an endearingly surly Ninth Doctor.

So, get yourself a hole in your head, gobble down a cronk burger, smoke some death sticks and step onto Satellite Five for an audience with The Editor!

The Whinecast Boyz couldn't recommend this early work of Mr Pegg highly enough.

'Dalek'

You know that feeling when you run into someone you hate and it's just TOTES AWK?

Well, this week, the Doctor has the same experience, as whilst he's on holiday in Utah, he only goes and runs into one of them bloody Daleks that he last saw...when was it...uh...oh yeah, when they destroyed each other's entire race!

As you can image, it's a little uncomfortable at first, but old touchy-feely-playing-the-field-Rose gets into the mix and, before you know it, it's just like old times. So, join us for the latest Doctor Who Rewatch Podcast - the most uncomfortable Friends Reunited encounter you'll experience this week!

'World War Three'

You know how they say flatulence never strikes twice?

No, you don't, because no-one says that and they're clearly right not to, as this week's episode of the Rewatch Podcast heads back into the increasingly fetid halls of Downing Street for the conclusion of the revived show's first ever two parter.

But what can Russell T Dog whip up to astonish us with after last week's romp? Well, for starters, there's more bowel problems - always welcome. Then we've got lots of running. There's some imperceptible shifts between CGI and practical effects. There's the continued rise of the world's most limp twit, Harriet Jones - and we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the dangerous escalation of the already staggeringly oppressive sexual tension between Micky and Jackie.

Sounds like we've got a stew, baby - so it's time to tuck in!

'Aliens of London'

In space, no-one can hear you...fart?

Yes, the podcast reaches a little milestone this week as we encounter the first two parter of the revived series, it's also the first episode to spend a significant amount of it's running time focusing on flatulence.

But hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go, right - and there's a host of other non-gaseous treats within this episode. There's the delight of seeing Peter Ecclestone being forced to go domestic (though luckily for Jackie, not HAVING a domestic), there's the introduction of an arguably irritating Harriet Jones, there's the game changing introduction of Earth's first contact with alien life forms - and don't even get us started on the frankly oppressive level of sexual tension between Micky and Jackie.

So, join us once more into the breach - as we infiltrate the very highest levels of British government!
